The cabin is expertly decorated in the quintessential northern Michigan style. It's a great place for family vacations, ski-trips, or girlfriend time. The owners have a robust family business designing and building beautiful one-of-a-kind rustic furniture as well as recycling antiques. Much of the furniture has been created (or re-created) by the owners. Having spent substantial time in Switzerland, they adapted a bit of European flair and it shows. The owners provide everything you need to enjoy your time including plush linens and bedding.
Bedroom 1 is located on the main floor as is the bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are upstairs.
There is a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, electric oven/range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. and the kitchen is well stocked.
The cabin is located in a secluded, quiet area with panoramic views of the hills and forest. There are miles of hiking/biking/snow-mobile trails just steps from the cabin.
There is a small enclave of cabins in the immediate area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and their privacy. The cabin lot is around the cabin and down the hill in the back.
The cabin is less than 5 minutes to Crooked Lake and their public boat launch; 10 minutes to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Alanson, Nubs Nob and Boyne Highland ski resorts; 20 minutes to Pellston Airport, Walloon Lake, Burt Lake, Indian River; 40 minutes to Charlevoix, Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island and the Mackinac Bridge, the gateway to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The list of things to do and see in the area are endless!
